What is Trench Town?

Trench Town is a cozy idle RPG that plays in your browser. Your champion settles into a little pixel town and farms gold, XP and diamonds while you get on with your day. Drop in to collect, gear up, wave to the neighbours and dive the Endless Trench. Every visit leaves you further along, and there's $TRENCH to win on the way.

Cozy by design

Trench Town is built to be the calm part of your day. There's nothing to lose, nothing to grind and no wrong time to log in. Pull up a log by the campfire and see how your champion's getting on.

  • Nothing to lose

    Your champion can't die. A knockout just ends the dive, and you keep everything found on the way down. There's no PvP, so nobody can take anything from you.

  • Your own pace

    A check-in takes a few minutes. Earnings wait for you for 8 hours, so come back when it suits you, not when a timer says so.

  • A town that feels alive

    Lamps come on at dusk, on your own clock. Weather rolls through too: showers, fog, snow and the odd thunderstorm, the same sky for everyone in town.

  • Easy on the ears

    A soundtrack and sound effects, each with its own volume, so camp is as quiet or as lively as you like.

Idle: it grows while you're away

Park your champion at a spot in camp and they get to work, online or not. Earnings pile up for 8 hours, so checking in a few times a day keeps them busy around the clock.

Higher levels farm faster, and every class has a favourite spot where it farms 20% faster. Come back, collect, and spend it on the next thing.

An RPG that's always progressing

Every visit moves something forward. There's always a next level, a deeper floor or a better piece of gear, and what you earn is yours to keep.

Diamond Hands on day one, and after a few good dives. Every piece you equip shows on your champion.

  • 100 levels. Every level brings 2 skill points for your stats and 1 talent point.

  • 3 talent charts. Gathering, Combat and Merchanting, each ending in a capstone.

  • Gear worth chasing. Drops come in Shit, Mid and Genny, and any piece can be enhanced to +10. Genny gear lights your champion up.

  • A dungeon with no bottom. The Endless Trench gets meaner every floor, with a boss every 10. Dive once an hour and push deeper each time.

  • A roster to grow. Up to 5 champions, each farming and diving on their own. More champions, more loot.

A town full of neighbours

You're never digging alone. Everyone in your world shares the camp, so you'll see other players' champions working the same spots and lining up at the Trench beside yours.

  • Worlds of up to 30. The town is split into worlds, so camp stays lively but never crowded. Pick any of the 48 and meet your friends there.
  • Say hello. Tap an emote and a bubble pops up over your champion in every camp in your world.
  • Look them over. Click someone's champion to see their class, level, deepest floor and gear.
  • Share the big moments. A live ticker in camp calls out the big drops and deep dives as they happen.
  • Bring your friends. A friend who joins with your invite link starts with 1,000 gold, and you both get rewards as they play. How invites work.

What is Trench Town?

Trench Town is a free-to-play cozy idle RPG you play in your web browser. You recruit a champion who farms gold, XP and diamonds in a shared pixel-art town, even while you're offline, and dives the Endless Trench for loot. You level up, gear up and climb the leaderboards alongside other players, and can win $TRENCH along the way.

Is Trench Town a cozy game?

Yes. There's no way to lose progress, no PvP and no rush: your champion farms at their own pace and waits for you when their bags are full. Add a pixel-art town with day and night, weather and a soundtrack, and it's made for unwinding.

Is Trench Town an idle game?

Yes. Your champion keeps farming with the game closed, for up to 8 hours at a time. A check-in takes a few minutes: collect, spend your points, equip your loot and send them into the Trench.

Is Trench Town free to play?

Yes. Your first champion is free, and recruiting it creates your account. Everything after that is earned by playing. The only purchases are optional: extra champions early, cooldown skips and Burn Wheel spins.

Can I play Trench Town on my phone?

Yes. It runs in any modern browser, on a phone, tablet or computer, with nothing to download or install. Sign in with a wallet, email, X or Google.

Is Trench Town multiplayer?

It's social rather than competitive. You share a town with up to 30 players in your world, see their champions around camp, send emotes and compare yourselves on the leaderboards. There's no PvP, so nobody can take anything from you.

How do I earn $TRENCH in Trench Town?

By playing. The Burn Wheel pays $TRENCH prizes, and a travelling salesman with $TRENCH scratch-offs and leaderboard competitions are on the way. They're prizes, so winning isn't guaranteed, but your champion keeps progressing either way. How Play 2 Earn works.

What is $TRENCH?

Trench Town's official token on pump.fun. It buys spins on the Burn Wheel, and it's what the game's prizes pay out in. Half of what you spend on spins is burned for good, and the rest goes into the jackpot that pays those prizes.

Is Trench Town an NFT project?
